Ever Get Insulted By Family?

I, semi seriously, emailed my uncle, a deputy sheriff in my hometown about if I could get a job with his dept. after graduation. He sent me a cutting email back laughing and saying, "You have to grow up first. So it isn't going to happen". "Apply for another state job", he said. I emailed him back and called him a pig. He knew I was joking. Ever been insulted by family like that?

@JustinOnTheRoad when my Mom was on her deathbed the only one willing to be there for her was the one who's life she made hell ,
My ex ,,Her so called best friend dropped her at the hospital ,,then called the family and told everyone if the hospital called them to refuse to sign her out
then the hospital would put her in a nursing home ,,,DO NOT bring her back to my house ,,
My Brothers signed her into Hospice ,,,to let her die

I got her out and brought her back to her own home and took care of and supported her 14 months until she passed away ,,she did die at hospice
But I had to go into the hospital ,,,my brothers agreed to take care of her while I was in the hospital ,,
I come home to find her in liver failure with bed sores big enough to put your fist in ,,she was orange ,,he face bruised on one side ,,nothing I could do to save her ,,but I tried ,,
But her babies she spoiled were not there for her
But the one she beat and called names was ...
I looked like her ,,my heart is like my Dads ,,He was a forgiver too

Kind of, we tease each other sometimes. Driving is something I neither enjoyed nor excelled at, so I stopped. Years later, my brother came to visit; he and I were walking down a street in my neighborhood, and we saw a car parked halfway on the sidewalk and half in the street. Whereupon he asked, casually:
“That reminds me, Sis, are you driving again ?” 🤨
