Why arent all mobile phones at least water resistant now?

We have the technology to do this but yet still if you take your expensive phone out with you somewhere you run the risk of it getting wet from rain or spilled drinks etc and breaking.

I believe all iPhones above a certain model are water resistant now. Let’s say 6 and above. I only know this because my daughter dropped her phone in the toilet recently and everything was okay.

Because they are in it for money. The more fragile, the more of a risk, the more money they can possibly make. Think about it.

@ArianaRose25 then why do we willingly pay that amount for something that breaks that easily. Wouldn't by a car that wouldn't go if the weather got too hot or too wet
