pet insurance helps. depending on the dogs particular needs it may be more expensive or less. also the cost varies depending on how cheap/expensive the food u get is. ( Don't use Webbox Chub food whatever you do.)

Yeah Vets will screw it out of you.
Talk to your Veterinary practice about insurers they'd recommend.
Insurers will screw you too but at least you know all things will be covered.
