It may depend on what you consider to be romance or romantic. We just had Valentine's day and to me that is mostly a waste of time. Why spend money on gifts (flowers, candy, stuffed animals, etc.), plan special dinners in or out, taking your loved one to a special night at a hotel, so on and so on for one day out of the year when you can (and should) express your love and affections for them throughout the entire year and in/with everything you do? When you are in a good/great relationship with a good/wonderful person then even everyday seemingly mundane things can be romantic just because you're with and sharing with someone you love and care about. That is never a waste of time.
