Is it easier to hate or to love? Why?

They are concepts I don’t understand or think about on a emotional level..
Like I know I love my parents, sisters/brothers and girlfriend, but I don’t think about it..

Hate. It takes quite a bit of work to love. Some make it especially difficult by being hateful. It's practically contagious whereas love isn't.

hate and love are both work, not that far from one another, all in all. it's not caring at all that's the farthest from love. and either the easiest or hardest to do.

Both are passionate and both require a lot of work. I choose love as it is a nicer/happier feeling

I find love comes most naturally to me. It takes effort for me to hate someone. My sense of empathy and desire to understand them kicks in and it makes hatred very difficult.

Apathy is probably easiest, though it too, has a cost.
