Money doesn't buy happiness

This.Is.A.Lie
If money is all you have, no happy. Money in addition to the other good stuff, happier.
If struggling doesn't wreck you, it will make you and your marriage stronger. @Starsandfire

@Mamapolo2016 yeah it just gets tiring
Yes, it does. The worth of what you have can be determined by - would you sell it for money?@Starsandfire
It doesn’t. But it does allow one to be unhappy while in comfort and security.
I am probably just sullied by evil capitalist ideals but I find I am much happier now that I have money then when I was broke. And honestly for me anyway it`s not about having millions of dollars it`s about affording modest living accommodations..not having to worry about what I`m ordering when I go out to a restaurant and being able to go on vacation without running up credit card debt.. and maybe having a few bucks left over to throw into the savings account at the end of the month.
Lol it sure can buy me some happiness 🤪
“Who ever said money can’t solve your problems must have not had enough money to solve them.”
money can not buy happiness. but it can often rent it for a limited time.
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@stound hmm I think I'd be happy with renting 😂
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
Money can help someone who is relatively happy otherwise be even more happy.....but it is not the answer in and of itself.
We know this because we see the rich and famous committing suicide all too frequently.
Money makes life easier in that it allows us to afford things and not have to worry about paying, but it isn’t a guarantee of happiness.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@DragonFruit "the rich and famous commit suicide" because they can't handle the fame/infamy, don't spend it wisely, take too many drugs and it finally catches up with them, or they're just wacko... not because of money...

When you have money all the time all you want is love
LyricalOne · F
It can certainly make suffering more comfortable.
CookieLuvsBunny · 31-35, F
Money may not "buy" happiness but there is a certain level of financial security a person has to have in order to be happy
midnightsun · 26-30, M
Obviously but it will damn well solve 90% plus of my problems
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@midnightsun 99% of mine 😂
midnightsun · 26-30, M
@Starsandfire yep. I'd like to realistic rather than idealistic.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
The only people who make that claim are people who've never been without it...
SW-User
Ofcourse not. Money can buy every good stuff.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
That's right. It can buy a feeling of temporary happiness but when that fades the next batch of "happiness" costs even more.
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@Wraithorn what about unlimited money?

@Starsandfire Unlimited money would probably be corrupting to the Human in an unlimited way. It would also bring a lot of worries. I don't see George Soros looking like a terribly happy man.
Pfuzylogic · M
That attraction to money can and will be used against you. It is hard to deny your attraction to it once you make it plain to see.
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@Pfuzylogic well...I'd just like to not have to worry 🤷‍♀️

@Starsandfire
Just trying to be helpful.
I have family that is extremely rich.
They still have things that cause them to be unhappy and it normally stems from their 💚 of money.
R5000 · 41-45, M
it can buy drinks. for women. hot women. men are happy with hot women
@R5000 Superficial men are, I guess.
R5000 · 41-45, M
When a guy (any guy) offers to buy a drink, how often do you decline? And if he offers to pay for the meal on a date, you refuse that too?
@R5000 If I’m dating him, I might not refuse. But no, I don’t accept a drink from just any guy.
PrivatePeeks · 26-30, F
It gives us the opportunity. This won't always result in happiness.
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@PrivatePeeks good point! I'd still be ecstatic if someone gave me 60 million though 😂
PrivatePeeks · 26-30, F
@Starsandfire Can't buy me love!
