Do you ever wonder what you're still doing online?

I don't know. I tend to keep on asking myself that question hoping to find some kind of answer but I never seem to do. Before I used to stay online for friends and some kind of connections, now not as much any longer and I'm not easily impressed either. Maybe my past experiences got me to this stage who knows. I just know I don't trust easily and I don't get too attached easily either and I'm difficult to persuade somewhat.

I wonder all the time. It seems a colossal waste of time, and it can jade you to a lot of things. Sometimes there are those redeeming moments and maybe that is why I stay.

@ozgirl512 True. But honestly in reality I talk to anyone wherever I go even in normal life. Maybe that's my biggest weakness in the long run :P

Friends and connections I guess is still my reason for being here, though they’re few and far between. Mostly I’m here when things are going bad for me, though being here doesn’t solve anything, there always seems to be someone who understands. I still question what coming here will accomplish though.

@StevetheSleeve Investing myself emotionally in the past was the stupidest thing I must've done. I thought people were different somewhat, I wasn't right and it doesn't matter but I also guard myself better in that regard.

@SW-User I suppose that’s life experiences, though tough ones. Those experiences make you who you are, but I guess the key is to not become too jaded or cynical. Just a bit detached, I suppose.

@StevetheSleeve I still see myself as a sociable and pleasant person to approach so I don't think they affected me to the point of turning me like them but definitely being careful is one of my cardinal rules definitely.

@MartinTheFirst I try to blend in with everyone and anyone but yeah I see what you mean too. Hopefully you'll find yourself some friends you click with too soon. Being alone for too long isn't good either.
