As ive gotten older i realise most of the things we persecute others over we have done ourselves at some point in time.

Knowing this wed be less inclined to judge someone?

In some cases it is hypocrisy...in others though it is that because we have been guilty of it we are aware of its dangers and consequences (because we've seen or experienced those too). We know the ignorance, the stupidity, and the wrongness of it. I don't think pointing that out to someone is actually judging them for it. And when they ignore our warnings and criticisms we tend to call them fools and I don't see that as judging either. Hypocrisy only comes into play when we are pointing it out to divert attention to them and away from the fact that we are doing it or have done it. Otherwise it is to each his (or her) own, and they'll just have to find out for themselves...I may not like or agree with it but it's none of my business.

No. People know what they’ve done and condem others for doing same..

My dad told me back in prez Clinton’s days, many of his accusers in Congress Were outed themselves by ethics committees.. and newt Gingrich divorced his wife because she got cancer... WTF? You leave your wife in her most time of need? That dude was a scumbag and did worse than Clinton in my opinion
Maybe we know it was a bad choice or something terrible happened after and we want to warn others. A bit like all parents have done things in their youth that now they try to advise their children from doing.

Well to judge is to give an opinion, I reckon to not judge someone openly is like dancing around a bush with tip toes, the only person ur hurting is ur authenticity and true happiness in ur life and their life as well, Id prefer just bluntness of course more preferably accomponied with humor, or else u'll never grow and see things in different perspectives as a person, of course head on face to face not shading bs that this place seems to promote to not be deemed as innapropriate or harassing, so Right now Im suffocating here and I dont know what to do lol.

Not always.
I have never thrown a tantrum because I didn't like who won an election.
I have never physically attacked someone for whom they support politically.
I have never illegally entered another country.

You see where I'm going with this?

Nah you just become a hypocrite.

@canusernamebemyusername So cant judge someone else over hypocrisy when youve been there yourself..... self awareness?....
@Isthisit Some people aren't self aware.
Isthisit · F
Perhaps it stems from guilt, then? If that is true
Isthisit · F
@Jouskan47 maybe

I mean it's something they teach you when you're a kid, but most people just choose to ignore it since it feels better thinking you're a saint. It's a christian principle to not judge others lest you be judged.

@Isthisit It's great that you realized it, you're one of few. Once you know that you're all (everyone) riddled with fault, it's somewhat a relief... No longer do you need to spend energy on hate and protecting yourself from words.

@MartinTheFirst thats true. I grew up a christian lol. I stopped going to chruch when i was 18 though. I still believe in god. :)

@Isthisit I'm too a christian, I believe in what Jehovah's witnesses teach :)
Possibly because people don’t believe us when we warn them ahead of time. But how much would we have believed, if someone had tried to warn us at that age ? 🤔
