how can a vegan justify owning a cat?

how can a vegan justify owning a cat? I think if you own a cat you are not vegan, vegans cant own cats because the cats cant be vegan, you have to buy a need your pet cat meat, and if you do not then you are damaging its health and that is not vegan. most of them are always trying to convince people that if you are not vegan then you are immoral but some of them do not realize how many things they do that they close their eyes to. they have to practice what they preach otherwise they have no merit. they pick what you should avoid to decide weather they think you are vegan, that is why no one wants to be vegan.

@HoraceGreenley Hey, I'm a vegan. But I'm not obsessive about it. I'll eat meat if somebody serves it to me, but I won't go out of my way to eat meat.

I think, perhaps, denying that animals who are omnivorous are just doing what nature intended is not the smartest thing...but if a vegan is too squeamish to open a bag of dry cat food maybe they are too squeamish to own any sort of pet.

Meat is not a necessity for us. We don’t need to kill animals to survive because we are able to stay healthy AND vegan.
Cats can’t be vegan or else they wouldn’t survive. We all have specific needs according to what we are. The same way not all animals eat meat, some only eat vegetables. Anyway I find it stupid to try compare the eating habit of an animal and ours. Or did I miss the point of what you’re trying to say ?

Meant industries aimed to feed animals isn’t against veganism at all 😂vegans want what is the best for animals even if that means animals eating other animals. I@Girlyfriendcollecting

@SW-User how is killing animals for our pets survival not vegan? you have a choice to won pets or not, humans are the ones who bread out so much cats. you have to understand that owning a cat creates a demand for makeing meat for it so if vegans are fine feeding their cats meat they should be fine letting people eat meat, we are omnivores we are supposed to eat meat.

Being a vegan is just stupid however I am highly highly and I mean highly against cats, especially those let outside. The cats let outside absolutely decimate the ecosystem having brought 60+ animals to extinction...yet they bitch like a girl when I shoot the cats

@Girlyfriendcollecting Okay okay you want to use that arguement, I play a simple card against you. Why are cats the ONLY one to have TNR surely instead of shooting all the iguanas they just make them infernal too, same with wild hogs (which are dangerous)

@SeadragonPrincess because people own cats and enjoy haveing cats. we dont own hogs and im not sure about iguanas i like them i would not shoot them. hogs are scary.

@Girlyfriendcollecting people have pet pigs...same species and all as feral hogs...but tamer. Iguanas too are pets. Not many have reptiles as pets but they are still pets
