Absolutely. They’re [b]not[/b], though. The one time I ever got as far as [i]voir dire[/i] the defense attorney was asking me rather personal questions. My answers caused him to decide he didn’t want me as a juror, but it was in open court, with both the accused and his family and friends looking down my throat.
