If my brakes make an occasional whistling noise and I just had them checked a little over a month ago, should I have it checked?

Got it checked yesterday. Minor repair needed. Didn't cost much. Phew!

@Gumba1000 they sprayed them with a brake cleaner. So I guess it was more of a cleaning than a repair

Could just be moisture on the pads and shoes.
