You know, something just struck me.

Time. We place such great meaning to time. But our perception of time is quite....slippery, isn’t it? What happened just now seems like an age past at the end of the day. You can remember events that happened 15 years back with perfect clarity as if it has happened yesterday.

I was just thinking about time, and more specifically the time I’ve lived. For me, and I’m not sure anyone else feels this way, ten years ago is a strange strange block of time.

For me, ten years ago isn’t Katrina, or Barack Obama, or the financial crisis. It’s in fact not even this millenium.

When I think ten years back for some reason I think Hannah Barbara cartoons after kindergarten, or my sisters fascination with the Spice Girls, Godzilla in New York and Turbo Power Rangers.
