I'm offended by vegan processed meats that have like 50 processed ingredients in it. I think we should ban it and I'm probably going to use that phrase more now "bring home the bacon."

Anyways I like bacon. Ironically with a low carb diet I eat all the bacon I want and still lose weight. I have gigantic salads to make up for it lol, it's all good.

Bringing home the bacon is an archaic phrase representative of a patriarchal rule where men were seen as the sole provider of the home and the wife's duty would then be to cook that bacon for her man. Anyone using that phrase in the modern world is thus furthering this stereotype and using a dog whistle to other misogynists.

The how do they justify calling disgusting strips of bean paste veggie bacon? Is not the vegan burger a racial slur against our enslaved, bovine brothers under this same logic?
