Job interview. Are they just busting my chops?

So I applied for a job for a tech company, sales remote position. The company sounded like a dream. They offer trips to Europe, quarterly traveling for retreats etc. all sounded so awesome. Best part was it is advertised as remote in the position. I’ve interviewed with the recruiter 3 times. During that time, he wanted to make sure I operate well remotely. All sounded great. Well I interviewed today with a director, as I did, she also wanted to confirm my ability to work remote; However, towards the end of the interview some things changed. She said “ideally this position would come into the office everyday, also are you comfortable traveling in the road 3-6 weeks (at the heaviest she said) at a time? The other director chimed in, yeah but of course weekends off, you can fly home. It was weird because none of this was every mentioned in any of my other interviews. Im a little worried because if that’s reallt the case, then I have to say it may not be the job for me. The the other part of it is she was like this is not an 8-5 job. We want someone to come in a sun up and not leave till sundown. It just sounded like they were trying to feel out how hard of a worker I might be. Which I totally am, but all the reviews I see on Glassdoor from other employees talk about how work life balance is so great working there. I wonder if they were just busting my chops? Anyone had this happen ? Opinions ?

It’s my only huge prospect on the table right now and I don’t want to blow it. Should I go back to them and clarify though? Or just let it play out and if it truly does end up being that way, move on after the fact ?
