Do you put stuffings on turkey before or after it is done baking?

I make what the south knows it as, dressing.
It gets put in the turkey before I bake it.

Stuff the turkey first so all the tasty turkey drippings mix in with the stuffing.

We have dressing, made separately.

Separate. I don’t like much of it.
