What's your earliest memory?

Age 3. Sitting on floor of a car. I had managed to press the clutch pedal, letting the car roll downhill, hitting a picket fence at our house. I have no idea how I managed to be in the car alone, but I suppose somebody left the door open.

I was about 4 and lying on the ground in our back yard while watching a caterpillar crawl across my hand.
