@Sarahcantstop I’ve learned that the general public will only misbehave as much as you let them. There is almost always a way to handle someone who is having a moment so that they feel validated but that also doesn’t make me feel like I’m giving in to a tantruming toddler

@Sarahcantstop most of it is just saying “I understand” and offering realistic solutions. Sometimes I ask how they would like me to handle the situation before I give solutions. Most people really just want to be heard and validated. Once you let them have a voice, their behavior usually changes. Of course, some people are just assholes and are just itching for someone to spread their misery to. There’s no helping those folks.
