What are the pros and cons of dating a single parent?

Cons might be that the biological other parent might show up for visits too often for comfort, or that the biological other might not have let go and may be jealous, or that the biological other might not pay child support and the single parent will be too poor to go out and pay their own way, or that the single parent will have trouble getting a sitter and/or paying for one.

Pros might be that if you decide to marry this person, you know in advance that they don't have fertility problems if you want to have a family. Another pro is that you can observe their parenting and determine from that whether they have a kind, loving and caring personality.

Mostly it’s about the person. But if you’re clingy and need undivided attention, they’re not the one. Their first priority has to be their child.
