whats the point in giving people gifts on here?

Just for fun, to mark an occasion or brighten someone’s day.

I like giving gifts to others on here. It always adds to their day!😀

To make them feel guilty so they have to send me one back.

They aren't like the people who were at Experience Project
So I don't intend to gift anyone.

I think it is just a sweet gesture. there may be no point to it at all per se. And the one that received it may mean little to.

But we never really know the kind of day others are having, or their emotional turmoil, if any. That gift, given out of your own free will may mean the world to them at that instant. There are a lot her that suffer in silence. We know not how that may affect them. Or it may not at all.

So at face value maybe there is no point.

Maybe the point is sharing (or showing) kindness.

Some folks use them as ice breakers...
When they don't get a response via PMs, they send a gift instead.

A decorated account seems more credible. I'm past that.

How are gifts given, do they have to be bought?
