Interesting question. The school can create two categories: open for all, and unisex. You must have a full roster, else the team cannot exist.

The same, but separate leagues by skill level i.e., varsity, jr. varsity, and "throws like a chick."

I don't mind mixing for sports, but I believe schools do that just to make sure they stay to their own locker room.

Sheesh. This is a tough one. I'm not ready to do away with single sex sports, but I do like to see things mixed up when it works.

Males are males, females are females. Our essence is different, no need to compete againts each others

In general females & males have a difference in physical performance in sports. Not trying to say no female has ever been stronger or better in a sport than a male. Etc just that on average it’s made sense to compete against those that appear most similar to our level biologically. I admire the abilities of all athletes as I contain little to no ability myself.
