No. I used to work in social services. The pay was awful, but I was helping people, so I always felt really good about myself and felt like I was making a positive difference in the world. Later on, when the ex became disabled, I had to make more money and went to work in the private sector. I was able to get a good job with an insurance company and later stepped up to a much higher pay level working for the phone company. I had to support my family with one paycheck.

I work at a warehouse sorting mail. Just basic math for some of the positions.
