Do you wake up ever and feel like a promise has been broken? Not to you, but one you've made to another?

I made a promise to her that I'd try to keep into contact with her everyday. I'd try to be with her and I couldn't even uphold that... I couldn't be bothered to give a simple "Hi" everyday... And I feel like I failed not only myself but that I failed her because I feel like I lied to her... I wanted to try and see if I could do one thing right and I just couldn't. Even if I'm not resented for it by her I still feel like shit because I couldn't uphold a simple Hi in the morning or at some point in the day...
