Where can I find absinthe?

@HannibalAteMeOut I will have to see if I can get rakomelo here. I have been enjoying bourbon for the summer with occasional gin and tonics and mojitos

@IowaDeviant gin & tonic is the absolute best 😍 you can make it yourself if you can find some raki. Or you can try its wine equivalent, oinomelo. Great for the winter!

@DownTheStreet I think I could get it if I asked but there's never written in any catalogue. I searched and found a bar which specializes in making it (and it's named after it) in my region and I have to go! Age was never a problem in buying alcohol thankfully lol.

Yeah, it was illegal in the US for a long time. I mean you could buy something with a label that said absinthe, but it didn't have wormwood or anything.

@HannibalAteMeOut Yeah, but the one thing is be prepared for really strong alcohol, like I said, gin is about 40% alcohol, so is whiskey and vodka. This is around 70%.
