@Dolimyte I've a subjective theory on "past lives" can't say it's accurate but one can't disprove it completely either. It doesn't make a difference. It gives you hope because the thought of perishing for eternity is really scary....

@SW-User I understand that fear, but it is not one I hold. I think it far more important to focus on the hear and now, as that is what I experience, and not worry about things that may or may not be.

@Dolimyte That's also true. As much as I can I also try to live that way.

@SW-User don't get me wrong, its important to live your life as if you are certian of perticular things. I just think its a bad idea to comit to the point that your mind could not be changed in the face of new evidence. No need to assume something is false and come up with alternate ideas for no real reason.

@Dolimyte Yes and no. Critical and analytical minds plus over thinkers in general will always come up with new stuff. Then think it's false and the cycle will go on and on. It's part of life I guess, doing the same thing is hell mundane. You need new "ideas" to keep going too.

@SW-User thats a good point. As long as you don't comit to the new idea with out supporting evidence, I'm all for that. Its probably necessary for inovation.

@jackvik Too bad we can't truly understand it's meaning because the "form" body dies whereas the spirit "soul" is immortal. According to some beliefs.

@Dolimyte If you believe in God then you believe in the whole scriptures. What you call paul's account has no relevance to this.

It was a long time ago since I studied this particular issue. I am not going to get into it now, perhaps some other time.

@MartinTheFirst thats not true. Many people believe in god without believing the scriptures to be true. If you don't want to get into it now, thats fine. I don't really care what mental gymnastics you do to reconcile the contradictions in your holy book.
