I hate the word "squat". Something about it sounds so gross and ugly. But I don't know what other word to use to describe this sitting position.

@Haniazed It's a legit thing, look up "squatting Slavs" and look at the images, tons of pics of Russian guys and other Eastern European people posing in that sitting position. It has nothing to do with shitting though, it's a thing that developed in Russian prison culture because guys would sit like that to play dice in their cells.

Well I might be prejudiced, I have a screwed up knee from years ago so it would probably be uncomfortable for me. No criticisms though just an opinion

@Tailspin It depends on what surface you're sitting on, and also the outfit you're wearing. If you've got on tight clothing, or high boots, it's not nearly as comfortable.
