It’s so odd, seems nearly anything is classified as being an attention whore on here especially if you’re a woman and it’s usually other women stating it. A lot of the time when the word is used on here I’m not even sure why or how the person is being an attention whore 😂. I think just being a female or deciding to use photos of yourself classifies you as one.
Nothing wrong with wanting attention. I just wish some of the people posting would seek attention with an aim toward improving the site rather than throwing any crap out there to get a reaction.
And while I don’t have a problem scrolling past such posts, when you create a climate where crap becomes the norm, quality users will get tired of scrolling and go. Then all you’re left with is...... crap.
@MorbidCynic Your post here happens to be thought provoking and invites discussion. Put together a group of users where that’s the goal and you have a great site. It’s all about what people want.
That's a good point and I've always thought as you do about it.
Everyone on this site wants attention to some degree or they wouldn't be here. The amount of attention wanted varies from one individual to another, but every single one of us wants some attention. And I don't see anything so terrible about wanting a lot of it.

Yeah prob not cool but there are some that are obviously total attention whoring. Like the dyed red haired chick that posts herself constantly almost desperately
Ignore it. Lots of stuff I find repetitive & boring here I go ahead & mute it’s so easy. Anyone who feels like starting a fight you click that block button. Ah silence 😌
