Missed the da Vinci out of his name...

@HootyTheNightOwl Da vinci just refers to his town of birth and not actually his name. its like calling me Nate of Glasgow.
@NeloAngelo It's still what he's most commonly known by, though - and many would have identified him more easily with that in than they would without it there...

He invented the SerPiero. Which came only in black.

He was a painter, a sculpture, a scientist, an inventor of many many things. He also developed other inventor's inventions (Guttenberg's printing press is one). He invented the spinning wheel, a type of mortar, anemometer, odometer, a machine for lifting pillars into the vertical position, the type of chain that became the bicycle chain, the hang glider (And there is ambiguous writings that neither confirm or refute it worked)..

...The roller and ball bearing, a method for polishing mirrors so parabolacilly perfect they could and were used for welding metal (using the sun), the pawl used in for instance automatic gearboxes (Park), rack and pinion gearing, cams, a cantilever bridge used by the army that used no nails or ropes to keep it in place....

As well as many other things.
