How can I quit smoking? (THC)

I'm trying to quit smoking, not cigarettes but marijuana. I don't do it a lot anyways but I'm trying to not do it at all because it just makes me completely lazy and makes me lose my motivation in everything but I still do it some times.

There are several ways to stop smoking.
1. Stay away from people you know are associated with bud.
2. Make new friends, build a new social group, meet new people, people NOT associated with grass smoking,
(Stopping hanging out with lot smoking friends isn't enough, as it tend to leave a void in your social time.)
3. Stay away from areas that you know are associated with reefer, and hence temptation.
4. Again, fell the void by exploring new places, new areas to spend your free time in.
5. Dedicate more time to work, it tends to help keep your mind off things.
6. Discover new hobbies or activities,o new that you enjoy. In particularly ones that require a lot of thought, motivation, and or stamina, as maryjane tends to bleed you of these attributes.
7. Join a support group specifically designed to address marijuana cessation, both in real life and on-line.
These are but a few suggestions ...

@User41 It's not as easy as you think. It helps me relax and lowers my anxiety, so that's what makes it challenging.

I don’t doubt it.

I was just being sarcastic. Lol

I occasionally do THC edibles. Same effect.

If you only do it occasionally figure out why you do it when you do (are you in certain situations, are you feeling a certain way, do you have an unusual amount of stress?, etc.)

And then examine closely the issues that cause you to reach for the pipe. And think of other strategies you could use to deal with those situations.

You'll either feel better about toking, or you won't do it.

Either way it's self-knowledge.

@justicexoxoxo True. Are you a large-breasted woman?

In any case, I'd recommend exercise, including weightlifting. The lower back pain can be dealt with by strengthening your upper back and core muscles. Properly supervised deadlifts and squats can work wonders. And natural endorphins can't be beat by any drug.

On the other hand, I do love a young stoned woman with big tits, so maybe don't change a thing ...

@WoodyAq My lower back pain came from an injury I sustained from a car accident last year.

@justicexoxoxo Oh. Still though, careful development of the muscles around the injury will improve your life considerably.
First get rid of your supply and anything you'd use to smoke it. That way you make a barrier to smoke. Then avoid routines that influence your smoking habit. Like parties with stoners or hanging out with people who offer you weed. Then substitute your need for marijuana with another activity. Exercising is a good one. Soon you'll find yourself completely over weed

@Qwerty14 I already exercise almost daily so that can't really be used as a sub. You're right though.

Maybe you can distract yourself with something else when you feel like smoking. Get into art or knitting or another hobby that takes up some time. Or you can start smoking a smaller and smaller amount until you’re able to stop completely.

Simples, don't smoke another joint.
Some people find the oil to be beneficial to them... maybe you could try that instead???
justicexoxoxo · 26-30, M
CBD Oil?
@justicexoxoxo Yes, I believe that's what it is, though I haven't tried it myself...

As some one who did quit, life without it is so over rated. Dammit I miss smoking weed

Decide to stop for good and make good on that promise
