Would possessing a tremendous amount money be more likely to excite you or give you anxiety?

Coppercoil · M
Excite me. I'd create a black ops assassin team of ex military special forces. We'd train for years and build connections and networks.. then go to work killing people that need to be killed that no one else had the means or ability to kill.
SW-User
@monimathu It's just that time of the month...

Neither.

I’d probably give it to the kids I don’t have. If I never have them, my nieces.

All I want is an ass ton of land in the mountains

@monimathu Sounds like a living off the grid to me lol, which I'm not good at due to the fact I've never lived anywhere besides my city my whole life
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Anyone who's ever worked retail will tell you anxiety.
Especially if it's your job to cash up and your numbers don't coincide with whatever the company EPOS system SAYS you should have.
SW-User
@Picklebobble2 Lol It must feel nice not having to worry about money until you realize some people know about your money and you're suddenly viral on the internet then you start worrying about getting harmed by dangerous thefts. 😆

By the way, 10 pounds isn't bad! I've never won the lotto in my life even just for a penny lol
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
@SW-User That's another thing about 'big money'. It suddenly makes you 'fearful' of things you never thought about before !
SW-User
@Picklebobble2 Precisely! 😃 Don't we all fear of changing one way or another?
Allelse · 36-40, M
Excite me!!! I believe it'd give me an erection.
BootyCutie · 22-25, F
@Allelse If you had all that money, I'd totally suck your erection.
SW-User
@BootyCutie How old are you?
SW-User
@Allelse There goes the money lol
iMystery · M
More money, more problems... the more you have, the more suspicious you become of those around you and the more paranoid you become of losing what you have.
SW-User
@iMystery Well said G
iMystery · M
@SW-User Thanks Lan 😊
SW-User
@iMystery You're welcome 😄
SW-User
It would make me anxious in a good way for a few days.. and then i'd calm down as i was able to buy a quiet place to live.
SW-User
@SW-User Ok but if you get up in the night... don't dive into the hall... i haven't put the water in yet 😛
SW-User
@SW-User 😂 Don't worry. I would just get the same experience in the bathroom
SW-User
@SW-User 😂
SW-User
I have enough, more would be nice. And no, money or even the lack thereof doesn't make me anxious i don't worry about trivial things.
SW-User
@SW-User Nah, you were raised to value the right stuff 😊
SW-User
@SW-User thanks Alex, i'm glad you think so. :)
SW-User
@SW-User You’re welcome 😁
SerenitiesScars · 31-35, M
Excite me... I'd already be building and creating stuff for the world to experience...…………….
SW-User
@SerenitiesScars Lmao! Sounds sarcastic 😂

Deadcutie · 18-21, F
My husband is wealthy, it’s nice I never have to worry about ever working or whether or not we can afford to order the $50 steak, but when you can buy anything you want with no limits, it kind of takes some of the fun out of it..
SW-User
@Deadcutie True. Anything that’s easy gets boring pretty fast

Deadcutie · 18-21, F
@SW-User @monimathu exactly.. it’s like dreaming about having what you can’t is a large part of the fun...
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
excite me when I invested it in muni bonds, dividend paying stocks, and high interest accounts...

Live off the interest and never need to touch the original money...
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@SW-User nope, just sound advice from people who do
SW-User
@wildbill83 It's a smart way to spend the money

SW-User
That would make me anxious. More money than you can you need for a regular life comes with a lot of responsibility.
SW-User
@SW-User Exactly! If you have more than you need for a simple life, you'll have to choose between a luxury life for yourself or helping others. The former could easily lead to guilt, especially if you didn't work hard for your fortune. And unless you get rich enough to help everyone, donating involves choices about the causes you do and don't give money to, essentially deciding who lives and who dies. That is a responsibility I rather not carry.
SW-User
@SW-User Lol I think that's the mindset of someone who's already content with their monthly income.
SW-User
@SW-User I'm not. A little extra would be extremely welcome, but I'm not interested in so much more that it would lead to the choices I mentioned.
SW-User
I would be calmer if anything. 😎 Maybe slightly anxious because now I have nothing to worry about tho
SW-User
@SW-User You get anxious when you have nothing to worry about?
SW-User
@SW-User A bit yeah. I get over it pretty quick though but Somedays it just nags at me. So In that situation I would probably have to remind myself how much money I have so I can relax
SW-User
@SW-User I understand. It makes me feel a bit anxious too when things change from the way they used to me for me.
SW-User
Depends. Is it my money or someone else’s? I’d probably be anxious if it wasn’t my money to spend because if I lost any of it then I’m just a bad person.
SW-User
@SW-User Lo I'd still be anxious if it was my money. I would feel the burden of having to keep that much money lol
SW-User
It’s exciting at first. As long as you’re smart (or fiscally conservative), it becomes part of your daily life.
SW-User
@SW-User Lol That's interesting
Mordi · 31-35, M
I'll have to run an experiment. Please transfer the money to my account. 🙄

@Mordi 😂 I see what you did there
Wurkoutgurl · 46-50, F
That would make me excited!
SW-User
@Wurkoutgurl Good for you. I'm quite terrible with money lol
Wurkoutgurl · 46-50, F
@SW-User you better work on that!
SW-User
@Wurkoutgurl I'm trying lol
deadgerbil · 22-25
Excite me and provide relief. Give me 100 mil and that is 'forever' money, set for life, etc
SW-User
@deadgerbil That's a common way to look at it
MzChatterbox · 41-45, F
If it’s mine - all good but handling someone else’s dosh I’d be so anxious to be meticulous that it was safe
SW-User
@MzChatterbox That makes sense. You'd be in a lot trouble if you lost that much of someone else's money lol

@monimathu Lol Dreaming about someone breaking in to kill you and steal your money

Somewhere in the middle.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@SW-User I've worked with a lot in the past. I've been very poor too.
SW-User
@SweetMae Respect! 😊
SweetMae · 70-79, F
@SW-User 😊
Magenta · F
I have and it leans more towards anxiety.
SW-User
@Magenta I can relate completely. It's a heavy responsibility to keep that much money safe lol
Magenta · F
@SW-User Indeed! :-)
Wishingwellguy · 46-50, M
Experience has taught me , a lot money only brings fear and anxiety
SW-User
@Wishingwellguy Yeah you gotta know your limit and comfort zone lol
SW-User
It doesn't do either.
SW-User
@SW-User Then what would be the third option?
SW-User
@SW-User It is what it is. I'm trying my best to not comment on posts if choice of answer is limited, its hard! I faulter some times.
SW-User
@SW-User Lol Fair enough
Fishy · F
I think it would be a mixed package
SW-User
@Fishy Same
SW-User
Wayy too excited at first
SW-User
@SW-User Lol I'd probably scream at the top of my lungs in excitement then be worried because now that I had the type of money I'd never had before
It would make me anxious
SW-User
@basicallyugly Me too, somewhat. It's not an everyday event for me to have that much money lol
