Should a 25% tariff be placed on McDonalds to protect the British Fish & Chip industry?

Dunno, but there is absolutely no comparison to be made between the two. If I want fish and chips I buy them, if I want Ronald McD it won't happen because the food in there is totally horrid.

No, British Fish and chip industry does not receive a 25% tariff in the US so not necessary for McDonalds in the UK. Also, different menus.
