A wise man once said "If asked for help ,and its within your power ,help them ,don't turn them away and tell them to return tomorrow ,if its within your power to help them ,help .He also said
For when we help the least member of His family ,we are the same as doing it for Him also ,and as we give ,it shall be given back to us
Shaken down ,pressed and running over .
So I do as I was asked ,and as He said ,I have been richly blessed for doing so ,in ways I could have never imagined ,things that were way beyond my control .
He said He would also give you favor with other people ,even people who have no use for you ,I have also found that to be true
So if the few times I have been burned is the payment for all that been done for me ,I am still in debt ,I have been blessed in ways I could have never dreamed ,and I am grateful .
So yea I look out for others as if it was my personal responsibility sometimes
When I was homeless living in the streets ,it was strangers that helped me
it was humbling ,and some have asked how I being such a prideful man was able to take charity ,,well when you have no way to take care of yourself due to health issues ,pride is the first thing to go ,,
And I guess you could say ,I have spent a life time of paying it forward
Thats the kind of man my Dad was ,I never seen him turn anyone away needing help ,,even the ones that had already burned him in the past
It wasn't in him to hold grudges ,,He was a great example of Christian love

And He warns us to know who we serve
His have nothing but love for you ,pray for you if you use and abuse us
turn the other cheek if you strike us (I would not advise trying it again though LOL)give as if its for Him ,
Our calling is to tell you how much He loves you ,
and show you His character in how we carry ourselves .
Would you judge me for the length of my hair ,or the color of my skin ?
we are to confess Him before men ,and He will confess us before God
I only wanted to add the part you left out (which is how most Christians use scripture ,,the good parts but ignore the requirements
But to say its not for those I help I help them ,I help them as it is for Him ,,and if anyone has a problem with its for Him I do what I do ,they want Him removed from the equation ,thats on them .
I do get there are way to many bad examples ,,but you can't realistically judge us all by the actions of the few
Or I would HATE all mankind ,,None are righteous on his or her own

Judge me ,examine my fruit and see if I am what I say I am ,I know I am flawed ,,but I am willing to change ,,I am only trying to make Him proud of me ,if I fail with you ,thats on you ,you can't say I did not try to be who He called me to be
Someone willing to tell you He loves you ,regardless of how it might make you hate me ,
I only put Christians in check ,,who profess to be His
But its clear the love of God is not in them ,,they are only playing church
and giving my Lord and Saviour a bad rap ,,they are Nothing like Him
and their using His word is a stink in His nostrils and one day they will be judged accordingly
I did not answer your replies to convince you of anything ,only the Holy Spirit can do that
The church Condemns ,He gives restitution ,He has paid your debt in full
and all He asks is our love
But as in all things ,,you can't judge the "FEW " that are actually His
