Have you ever thought that the world would be better off with you locked up in prison?

The world is a prison relatively speaking. And then, prisons within a prison......
@rckt148 Yes. Freedom to most is just philosophical rhetoric. Would you like me to elaborate on the illusions of freedom most people live in?

@RenaissanceMan No ,I live in a country especially if I stay within our boarders I can go where I please
I can live where I please ,date and marry who I please
Hunt ,Fish ,Fly a plane ,cross the ocean in a boat and I am trained to do so
I get my vote only counts as to who takes the electoral college ,but on a state and city level I do have some say so ,
but I do know we are USA INC ,unlike some ,,we do not have near as much control as most assume .(I am not fooling myself about that )
I do know the Papacy will one day ,maybe very soon run the whole world ,then is when you will know the true meaning of loss of freedom .
But I have been a cripple laying flat of my back unable to even go to the bathroom on my own ,lived on the streets homeless because no one believed me
Crippled and worried how I was going to even eat ,get clean clothing .take a bath.
I have been arrested and jailed for a crime I didn't commit

Not to say your views are not relevant to you
For now I know how limited some might see our freedom
But until you are trapped in your mind and unable to do much else
You will never be as grateful as I am for the plain Mobility I have

I walked to the bath room this morning and took a shower all by myself
Wasted most of the morning talking on the net ,but I did get some practice in
(I am a musician ,hope to be doing shows again real soon )
I guess its is all in perception
I have faced death more times than any man should have to ,and it was still a drop in the bucket to some ,But back then I had no fear of dying
Fear is also a perception ,,
The things you are afraid of may not get a reaction out of me
And the things you call prison ,I may call a well deserved vacation
I get that ,that true loss of freedom and mental perception I guess are a state of mind
Some are at home in prison ,and I was in prison in my bed ,
so I think I get the point ,maybe more than you
Even been unable to walk ?confined to a bed ?
If you have ,well I get that too ,I am grateful I am no longer there
@rckt148 Thank you for your reply. We've had a few similar experiences. I understand your point and you understand mine. Have a good day.

Poor prisoners then.

It's either me or them.

Somebody gonna die.

Yet sometimes my cube at work seems like a prison.

Would the world be better off paying all my bills while I do virtually nothing? 🤔 Probably not.
TJNewton · M
Yes it would but no one is hard enough to put me behind bars
