What has been the worst day of your life thus far?

For me, it was 9/11...I was working at our local hospital, everyone was stunned, in terror, and every other emotion you can imagine. Since we are very close to the worlds largest marine base, we are a logical target and didn't know if it was just New York or the entire nation.

We had to go on lockdown, many of the marines were posted at every entry point. Providing patient care was difficult because we had to be calm and not panic the patients. The entire day was a nightmare! and you?

Mine was January 1st, 1990 when i was swimming with my best friend in the river in front of about 50 people and he drowned and nobody helped.

@ScarletWitch @SW-User @Coyotedave611 Thanks, it went in front of the coroner's court as they couldn't understand why nobody helped but most witnesses said they thought we were waving not drowning or just boys playing around :(

I can't think of one particular day because there have been so many. 2004 and 2005 were the worst years of my life. Not a day goes by where I don't think of something that happened during that time in my life.
