She's entitled to a life ain't she?
@SW-User lol. I'm not saying she can't live her own life. I'm just saying it sucks when you've been friends for ten years/hang out all the time then she gets a boyfriend and then you don't see her for months.

That just sort of happens. Maybe get involved in a hobby or volunteer and you'll meet more people that have similar interests. Maybe make more friends that way. Don't sit at home and be sad

I look at it this way,, if you are the same sex it's obvious that you will feel neglected,, and I can see by the age that you are still very young.. I have friendships that are still strong with friends I went to school with 40 years ago.. you aren't forgotten.. just set aside for a bit.. they may get married and have kids,, instead of being upset, be happy for them,, hey it might be a big wedding one day and you could be a bridesmaid, or maybe not.. just be happy for your friend and time has its way of making you feel better.. just think about that Rachel

This may be the 1st time, but definetly not the last time this will happen. You get older and everyone moves on.

I'm sorry that's happening - it's one of life's toughies. But it's part of the life most of us will lead/live. Next will be marriage. Then we get into our kids.
Your time is coming as well, so try to be happy for your friend - and don't be afraid to let your friend know you miss the time together and wish you'd have a little more. Your best friend is not doing this for the effect it will have on your friendship. It'll get better.

It happens a lot. So I think try not to get too attached to people.
