Because they are not dogs They are quiet they don't hang on you like a needy codependent and if a cat likes you it's because he likes you not because you reassure him with your kind words because he does a stupid little trick

How independent they are. Dogs are great but they can be a little too clingy for my taste.

They use a litter box and you don't have to take them outside

I don't have to get up and take them out in the snow to poop

They let you know whose boss is the cutest possible way!😸
