Political views aside...Is the POTUS a good person overall in your eyes? would he be a good friend to have on a personal level..

I personally dont think he would be...not the kind of friend you can depend on to "be there " for you
frequentlyme · 70-79, M
My personal opinion of the man is that he is morally bankrupt. I could never trust him, so I would not want him as even an acquaintance, much less a friend.
jackson55 · M
[@ Liberals don't think he can do anything right. That's ok, I didn't have high hopes for Obama either. He didn't dissapoint.
Fernie · F
@jackson55 the second I see "liberal" i stop reading...same old go to and blame bullshit from a trump lover. Many. many, many republicans did NOT vote for this sick bastard and are turning against him more every day...why talk about Liberals as if only we despise him and want him out? As if we are making it all up? As if he doesn't prove every time he opens his lying mouth that he is profoundly dangerous...the way Hitler was dangerous...and is going to kill us all? For your sake I hope that someday, someone or something pops that huge bubble of denial you walk around in
FallenxShane · 22-25, M
@Fernie If anyone is Hitler, it's that David Hogg kid
TexChik · F
Yes I think if he were my friend I could count on him . Liberal BS and their slanders aside ... I would ask how many liberals , when called out of the blue by a complete stranger , would offer up their private jet to a family needing to fly their gravely ill child across the country for a life saving procedure ( commercial air lines wouldn’t do it ) ? Trump did it without batting g an eye. Or , how many libs would have paid off a person’s mortgage just because that person stopped to help them with a dead battery ? Trump did . He’s a good guy . I didn’t say I’d marry him but I’d count my self fortunate to call him my friend .
black4white · 56-60, M
@TexChik check your unemployment rates for the past 10 years please and minority to be exact
TexChik · F
@black4white you check them , obama dropped everyone thatvwaa unemployed for so long they stopped looking to pad his numbers . The reality , things go better with Trump!! Not America hating socialist Muslims .
black4white · 56-60, M
@TexChik my taxes rock and I get a shit load back and sorry for the people making less than about 300k cuz his shit kicked in well but I don’t like him as a person

He is no Jimmy Carter.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SW-User NOPE. You have never studied hermeneutics obviously. Nice try though.
SW-User
Listen... everyone's up and we're going to head out soon.

You've converted me to the Faith. I can tell that God's goodness flows through you and He is King.

Stay a pillar of light for His Word.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@SW-User Huh funny that I wasn't trying to convert anyone. Must be a miracle. I can take no credit whatsoever. I was simply pointing out your ignorance and you became a convert. I will have to use that technique again.
SW-User
I dont think so. I cant see anything about him that would make me like him.
Does he have any Real friends ? Everyone around him gets paid to be there.
He has a better history than you do ... and we tolerate you.

And yes, the neighbors and I have talked about inviting him here ... they all have wives, children and daughters
Thank you Abbey!
Make sure you all sign the NDA.
I feel like I would avoid contact with him if I knew him in real life.

‘Fuck. Here comes Trump.’ *ducks into bathroom*
The best ... he understands pragmatism ... a guy I know is going to make the right decisions.

I could have good solid conversations ... and learn things.
themindmistress · 41-45, F
Absolutely NOT! I don’t think I’d trust him to take care of my goldfish! And friends don’t try to have me deported just saying!
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
The last President I would consider as a "Good guy" (politics aside )was George Bush the younger.
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
I don't think I can put political views aside so I think he stinks, he is cranking up the war on drugs too stupid to understand that we have be been there done that and it did not work.
black4white · 56-60, M
@Subsumedpat gotta our political views aside :) makes for better conversation lol
Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
@black4white How you figure, it is not like Donald is coming over for dinner so I don't see how it non political side is relevant. And besides political views are very much part of who the person is.
black4white · 56-60, M
@Subsumedpat I have many people I know and I don’t know there political views and I have people that are my friends hat I know and their views are very different from mine BUT that’s whats cool is we can still make it happen with zero issues
Fernie · F
he is the darkest side of a human being. He is pure evil...through and through...he cares about him..only him. He cares nothing about the consequences of his deranged decisions. How anyone can find ANYTHING ANYTHING ANYTHING remotely decent about this sick creature...is beyond my comprehension
jackson55 · M
The media makes him out to be a asshole and the media never makes up anything. I would imagine Obama would have been ok to sit and have a beer with, but I didn't agree with his politics.
jackson55 · M
I didn't agree with any of Obamas politics but I think he would be OK to sit and have a beer with.
Docdon23 · M
no--the way he treats people is childish and narcissistic...and an embarrassment
I don't think that he represents the ideal model of the 'Successful American Business Man'. He was ruthless.
As the POTUS he is Not the role-model that I want for my son to grow up and become or for my daughter to grow up, marry, and have a family with.
Like most politicians I think he'd put a clip in my head if it would increase polling a few percent.

Machiavelli. Business is business. Not friend material.
black4white · 56-60, M
@CopperCicada you going political in your response :)
@black4white Not really. My comment applies to most politicians. Not partisan.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
I think I would rely on Trump more than Obama but I don't think that I would be friends with either.
His wife was betrayed by him.
How could you ever see a friendship work?
No. And I’ve come to make that distinction. I didn’t like Dubya as president. But I never thought he was a racist or a misogynist. And after hearing how he and Laura helped the Obamas settle into the White House I really came to respect him as a decent person. I disliked Donald Trump long before he ran for president because he’s always been a racist and a basic cad.
