Do you believe in love?

Abstraction · 61-69, M
Yes. Not in theory, in practice. I've loved, failed in love and picked myself up by the bootstraps to do it properly
.
I believe love between two people is not fairy dust, not a feeling that comes and, oops, it's gone: goodbye! - but a commitment that takes character - and the results are powerful, incredible, and go to the heart of what life is about.

I also believe love is not just those who affect my happiness. I have learnt to care for the down and out, for strangers... and translate it into something practical.

I've been the recipient of love too. I'm here today because someone loved me at my worst.

I believe in a chemical reaction that produces stupid behavior in previously smart people. If true love exists, I haven’t seen eveidence of it yet.

I believe it exists for other people. Not sure if I'm as optimistic about ever having it myself.
Yes. I'm surrounded by it. And so are you. Whether you acknowledge it or not is a matter of your perspective.
SW-User
Given how likely actually attaining it is, I don't.

No, because it doesn't last.
