have you ever tried the envelope method? thats where you take several envelopes, write what your bills are for that month, a couple of extra envelopes for things you are saving for or one for savings. put money in the envelopes each week for the bills that need to be paid. see how much money is left after the month in the savings. keeping your money separated into categories will help you not spend the money that needs to be paid for certain expenses.

@SaraxKay yes. My school offers finacial help. Investing and stuff. I need to start investing myself.. I'm sure someone there can help

@hippyjoe1955 you're exactly right that's what's been happening. I'm going to try this method.

@SaraxKay It really really works. It takes a lot of resolve to leave the bank/credit card at home but if you want to save money that is the way to do it.
