Well, what is making you so depressed? Think about it.
I was taking 21 units my first semester in college. I felt badass, but that quickly crash and burned after I slipped into a depression.
School is difficult and you have to recognize that your body cannot be under constant pressure/stress.
You need sleep, enjoyment and relaxation.
After the second year, I sought professional help which lead me to antidepressants. They helped.
I also saw a therapist that helped me rationalize my worries and negative thoughts.
School is doable, very. I'm still in school... although, I didn't do too well my first year. It was something to learn from.
We all have different ways to cope. I suggest you spend some time trying to figure yourself out...
Try to figure out what is causing your depression and I'm sure you'll come to a conclusion soon.

If "professional help" doesn't work for you or you can't afford it, stop what you're doing and think. What has got you depressed? Is it something you were born with? Even then, what triggered it?
Once you know that, you're well on your way to conquer it!

Get professional help, most people can't get themselves out of it by themselves and dig themselves even deeper trying to get out on their own.
