One of the childwen on Face the Nation speaking out aftew the shooting

Is said to be a child of a CIA agent. Smells like a set-up, the whole thing. The shooter was said to be hearing voices telling him to be violent, cell phones can be hacked with Voice-to-Skull...a lot more to this story than what the mainstream media is telling us.

I'm not into conspiracies but I do like to look at root causes. The fact is that American youth are raised thinking they by the very fact that they exist are 'special'. When they don't get their own way they lash out in anger. They have never been told 'no' in their lives and so when things don't go their way they become special snowflakes and either launch into incoherent language or else grab a gun and start shooting. The whole idea of raising children to be adults needs to be brought back. The individual must be made responsible for his/her actions and met with consequences when they fail to do so. Whether as a toddler a firm pat on the bottom or as student a penalty whether loss of privilege or in more extreme cases physical punishment. In so doing it must be reported to higher authorities that an individual is incapable of control (mental illness) and that person be placed in a situation where he/she can not harm anyone else.

@hippyjoe1955 I'd like to see what would happen if people stopped providing their kids with cell phones. I think they'd actually start socializing and depression start dropping.

@cherokeepatti Yes our technology has helped isolate people and allowed us to talk to those we likely would be better off not knowing. However the training of the individual is what matters since it helps control the use of technology. A teaching moment in the school could easily be "put away the cell phone and play a game of baseball or soccer or football or ....

A generalized statement about the way children are raised and parenting does not represent the Majority of children and parents in this country. In each of the incidents there was only ONE shooter. @hippyjoe1955 These cell phones (and other devices) are being hacked. I refused to let the boy I'm raising put a Pokeman app on his I-pad even tho it was free...his sister did it anyway after being told not to and she was told to remove it, got so angry at me she refused to speak to me because of it. Came out on the local news station the POKEMAN free app had spyware embedded in it (after the fad faded) and the good old CIA was behind it. How about that for a conspiracy theory?
