I'll bet that's psychological.
Physical distance from home makes it a real chore if you were 12 miles from home and had to run it.
If you're in the comfort of your own home already, you're already where you want to be so it's no effort.
Maybe.

@Picklebobble2 that would make it easier for me to run, if I had to run 12 miles from home because I like to run places I have to be 👌🏻.

@lucetta12 even if it's cold and wet out and you've had a day of it already ??

A treadmill is perfectly even and predictable, whereas outside you need to constantly adjust to unevenness in the pavement. Also wind and temperature are entirely different, and on a treadmill you don't have to process noises and traffic.

Because wind and weather and people.

Maybe your legs were tried from the day before 😊

That’s so interesting I can’t stand the treadmill. I get so bored I just look at the numbers. I can’t make myself do more than a few miles. But I can do several more on a loop through the woods, the beach or a neighborhood. Probably just preferences

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit I always cover the numbers with paper. I don’t like knowing what I’ve done all the time. I wish I could do that outside. It’s just stressful.
