The first time you saw the word "albeit", did you think it was a misspelling of "Albert"?

No but I thought buildings with To Let written on them were advertising they had a toilet for years.

the written word that catches me up is prescience. I always see/read "pre-science"

Just assumed it was German for something.

No, but I was unsure of its pronunciation..

I never use that term.. It's archaic ;)
