If you are Canadian and/or living in Canada...what's a way you deal with our winters?

The wood stove keeping the living room like a sauna is the only thing that keeps me sane. It doesn't get that cold here by Canadian standards but we get all kinds of insanity blizzards.

i hate Winter , all that damn Snow and its Freezing outside man , gotta dress up like an Eskimo when outside in winter , forget Winter activities i'm not a Polar Bear

I'm in a warm part but the people I know in the cold parts often have a winter holiday somewhere warm that they look forward to and they throw themselves into pasttimes such as sports or arts to take their minds off the cold. Also embracing it by having a winter outdoor activity.

I'm so jealous. It doesn't get near as cold where I am. It's November, and I'm still wearing shorts. 😭

Visit coffee shops regularly and go skiing...That's what I did on my only visit to Canada

I guess i should rephrase my question..what are some things you do to enjoy the winter in Canada?
