Why do people hate vegans and Kim Kardashian?

I'm not vegetarian but I used to be and people hate us [b]even[/b] if we don't do anything wrong. Not saying there's not pushy vegans out there but there's two sides to every story. Just to introduce another side. When I was vegetarian, people would ask me questions and get mad over something that they started. Other than online forums, people saying snide stuff to me behind my back when they know you (not you literally) can hear them is another example.

People will always be bothered by anything. I used to get detention for reading in school. People hated me because my hair was colored in a way they didn't like, they didn't like my clothes, I was too fat, too skinny, too morally bankrupt, too much morality, my habits pissed them off, too nice, too mean.. etc.

This may sound harsh but back then what meat eaters thought about me was the same I thought of them. They classify me as weak and I thought they were weak for various reasons. It's just how it was 🤷

Maybe people feel unconciously judged by vegans for eating meat?
I don't watch the Kardashians, so I can't give a well informed anser, but I think it's attention seeking.

Few advocate for antivenom derived from humans and do not know that they get it from horses, they are poorly informed on a subject they claim is important to them
