Any Chevrolet lovers out there care to debate?

There’s only one thing wrong with a Chevrolet and it’s an easy fix. Just take it down to the Ford house and get one of those blue ovals put on it. Problem solved. You’ll never have anymore trouble with it.

Thanks for BA. I drive a FORD, on my second and never had any trouble. I had the last one for 10 years.

I'm more of a DeSota and Studebaker person. DeSota- still a bit of GM in there.

@Elandra77 ...and '65 and '66 Studebakers were powered by Chevrolet engines.
@gurlwatcher22 True but the line-brand was almost dead by them. I am speaking of the 1950 models-as Desota was a car form the 40's and 50's. In 66- Falcons, Fairlanes. Malibus, Camaros, Impales, Rivieras, and Fury's seem to be the ones in demand.

That being said, I thought DeSotos had MoPar lineage;kind of like LaSalle was to Caddy.
And yes it could be argueably said that the last true Studebakers were made in 1963 or 1964 when the South Bend IN plant closed down. Not to mention Packard;1958 was the last year for them.

I loved old PutPut malibu. He was one good old car.

I completely agree.. The best thing about a Ford is that blue oval on the front and rear. Those are still well made. The rest of the car is basically Chinese rubbish of course. Thank goodness Ford sold Volvo so at least Volvo could start making decent cars again.

@Spokeskitties75 at least you don’t drive a Chevy. Their like a rock just sits there.

@gregloa I actually have a Ford E350 van for work... it’s the most rock solid vehicle I’ve ever had... and it gets abused and keeps going

My dad always had Caprice Classic Chevrolets. He never had any issue with them back then.

Doesn’t Ford stand for fix or repair daily?
gurlwatcher22 · 61-69, M
I've owned Chevys and Fords and had a lot of fun with both makes.Just adding some trivia here:Ford outsold Chevrolet in 1957, but how many 1957 Fords do you see at car shows and cruise nights?

But it will still have a suck ass Chevy engine.
