@iamnikki I agree, have often thought what it would have been like being born in other families but sometimes found out they weren't all they appeared to be.

@cherokeepatti oh me too. I have an uncle who treats his daughters real nice. He told me he was proud of me and I almost cried. Never hear that from my own dad. I also found out that my " perfect" aunt is seeing a therapist. Things with her look good from the outsidr but you never know what goes on behind closed doors..

i was fostered and strangely enough... quite a few us fostered kiddies are not like those you see in them damned after school specials.
we basically do not care, if we got a home and we aren't dead by the time puberty hits... i say that was a good call.

I never knew anyone who went through the crap we did growing up because of a sadistic father, so probably.

This is awful but if they were rich and I was the only child I’d be a lot happier.
Mine could only have been worse if they'd have tortured me or tried to kill me so maybe..
