How different was your life a year ago?

I just shake my head when I think about what I was doing a year ago. I tried so hard to kill my body, my spirit almost went with it. I was so weak in terms of mind and body, I consumed any drug I could find. I'm glad to be alive.

I was depressed and anxious constantly, and I got attached to people way too easily. I was with someone who didn't give a flying crap about me. They made me feel like everything I did was wrong. Then I tried to recover from an eating disorder, but that didn't go so well.

I was extremely depressed and anxious a year ago. I would spend all night doing nothing but crying and I would wear all black as well as sneak out of my home. Now I'm in my bed with cute stuffed animals happy as can be :)

A year ago today we had fled from Hurricane Matthew all the way up to Petersburg Virginia. I was in a hotel room at the Econo Lodge, smoking the last of my weed, taking long hot showers, enjoying the cool, constant falling rain and buying meals from a nearby Family Dollar. Watching [i]Westworld[/i] on my free HBO too. Awesome show.

My life hasn't changed that much, but I'm trying. I did lose 11 kilos and went for a couple of jobs after 10plus years in the same position - I wasn't successful but I did apply
