Do you tell people what they want to hear knowing it will please them or can you openly tell them the truth?

Truth but I am not mean spirited. The people I share with feel they can trust me and that I will tell them what they need to hear but not judge or betray them.

I'm always straighforward but I will find a tactful way of going about it. I really hate hurting people.

I never see a reason to be brutal. You can speak your mind without that
