Men do you behave differently online towards women than you do in real life? If so why?

I do not, seems like a lot of work just to have some "online persona", I am me, you get what you get :P

@Pherick thats a good way to be.

I tend to be different in my interactions to people in general between the two..regardless of gender. Online feels to me at times to be more of a sharing of thoughts and people tend to be more welcome to it in this environment. In person it's time filling chit chat that I can't get away from fast enough when it comes to most people.

Overall, online and offline are the same. I feel it is easier (and safer) to approach people online though than offline, so that's the main difference.

I think I treat everyone the same on line or in person. I recognize women are the weaker gender and treat them accordingly.

@hippyjoe1955 Actually its the saying "woman are the weaker sex" that makes you an ass. Glad I could clarify that for you.

@Pherick Are you still bleating? I stopped listening to your PC nonsense. Women are the weaker sex. End of discussion. Ever notice how all the female superheroes act just like their male counterparts. Why can't they be super women instead of pretend pretend super men? Because they are the weaker sex. Get used to it. The world didn't change with the advent of PC crap.

@hippyjoe1955 Your defending your "woman are the weaker sex" line by somehow relating that to comic books?

No thanks, I will just stick to real life, where woman are men's equals.

can anyone really say they're exactly the same on the internet as they are in real life?? if you do say that, you're a liar
littlepinklotus · 41-45, F
@louisecox97 i disagree with that. i think its very easy to be exactly who you are.
louisecox97 · 26-30, F
so you can honestly say you would say everything you say online in real life too? no, it's bullshit, yeah you can be the "same kind of person" but no one is exactly the same
littlepinklotus · 41-45, F
@louisecox97 well i can honesltly say i don't say anything bad online to anyone that i can't say in real life. Look at my posts. theres nothing bad on there. I am a spanko and the majority of people that i am close to in my life know that. Its not something i am ashamed of. So just because you hide out online does not mean we all do.

No, not at all.

probably with somewhat less reserve...
...most some I encounter in real life I meet in a professional setting... and then any misunderstandings can have long reaching impact
