Havent announced pregnancy.. SIL did on FB

So we still haven't told some family memebers, friends or coworkers about pregnancy. Husband and I went to a baseball game. I posted a picture on Facebook. SIL comments "SHOW US THE BELLY!!!"... people start commenting OMG I didn't know you were pregnant ?! I knew you looked different!!! Holy crap you're pregnant? We truly didn't want to announce it that way so I deleted all pregnancy related comments. Is that bad/rude of me to do that?

no, it's super insensitive for your sister in law to make those comments before you've made the announcement. you should talk to her about it, it's not cool

that is distasteful of her as you haven't announced it yet.I would pm her asking her to keep quiet about it til you do.
You need to explain to your sister n law that you wanted to announce to everyone that you were pregnant in your own way. After all, it is your pregnancy, your baby, your experience.

No. The person who decides when to announce the pregnancy is you and you only!

Not really, but I'd repost them later after you read SIL the riot act!

@SW-User If this felt awkward, you did the right thing.

Delete the entire post and tell her to shutup.
Not at all. Your pregnancy, your and husband's decision when and how to announce. Your SIL was the rude one.
